About the Event
All She Wrote Books is ending Independent Bookstore day with a night of laughs! Join us for a show featuring some of Boston's sharpest and funniest rising comedians, with a portion of proceeds going to support Room to Read!

About Room to Read:
Room to Read’s Literacy Program supports literacy development for primary school students. The organization works with local authors and illustrators to create and distribute children’s books. It also introduced an online learning platform called Literacy Cloud during the COVID19 pandemic. Through its Girls’ Education Program, Room to Read supports girls with resources, mentorship and a life skills curriculum that helps them overcome challenges to education.
Schedule for the Evening:
7pm-7:30pm Private bookstore browsing + shopping for event ticketholders
7:30pm-8pm Bookstore closes for event setup - please feel free to grab food or drinks before the show starts, as they will not be permitted in the venue
8pm-9:30pm Our show!
A Note on COVID-19 Policies:
Although the City of Somerville has dropped their indoor mask mandate for public spaces, All She Wrote Books continues to require masks for employees and customers inside the bookstore.
Why? Part of our mission is taking care of the most marginalized and vulnerable among us, including those who are immunocompromised and who are not eligible to receive a vaccine — staying masked is how we do that.
