About the Event
You're invited to join All She Wrote Books to celebrate the release of Chatham Greenfield's new release, Time and Time Again. This YA romance between two queer, disabled, Jewish teens is a fantastic way to close out Disability Pride Month! Chatham will be joined in conversation with Jennie L. Howe, author of The Makeup Test and On the Plus Side.
To protect our immunocompromised readers, this event will require masking! Masks will be available in store for those who need them.
There are many ways to obtain a copy of the book (aside from your public library) — you can purchase it through allshewrotebooks.com, Bookshop.org, or Libro.fm to help support our work!
Our event has a limited capacity and we want to ensure that as many people as possible are able to attend. By letting us know that you can no longer attend, we can open up your spot to someone on our waitlist who is eager to participate.
"Inclusivity" isn't just a buzzword to us. We make every effort to ensure our space and events are accessible to and for everyone. If you or someone in your party needs accommodations, please email us at info@allshewrotebooks.com.
About Time and Time Again
In this debut YA speculative romance, two queer, disabled, Jewish teens find themselves stuck in a time loop—and falling love.
Phoebe Mendel has been living the same day for a month—literally. On August 6th, she woke up to find herself stuck in a time loop. Ever since, she’s been reliving the same day: pancakes with Mom, Scrabble with Dad, and a search for answers on how to escape and make it to her appointment with a doctor who takes her IBS seriously. It’s the same thing day after day—until Phoebe’s childhood crush Jess comes crashing into the time loop. Now stuck too, Jess convinces Phoebe to break out of her routine and have fun. From splurging on concert tickets, to enacting harmless revenge, to all-night road trips, Jess pulls Phoebe further and further out of her comfort zone—and deeper in love with Jess. But the more Phoebe falls, the more she must grapple with dreams of a future that may be impossible to reach.
About the Authors
Chatham Greenfield (they/she) is a young adult author and romance enthusiast. Their debut novel, TIME AND TIME AGAIN, is forthcoming publication with Bloomsbury in 2024. Their second novel, currently untitled, will also be published by Bloomsbury in 2025. Chatham is a fellow in the inaugural class of LitUp by Reese’s Book Club, a program that grants mentorship and marketing support to debut marginalized women authors. They’re a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and previously worked as the community relations manager of a disability advocacy nonprofit. Chatham seeks to tell stories that authentically represent their experiences as a fat, disabled, Jewish, lesbian. Born and raised in Florida, their stories often take place in far too humid seaside towns. You can find them wherever there’s air conditioning, wrapped up in a snuggie, reading a voice driven novel.
Jenny L. Howe (she/her) first started scribbling stories into black-and-white composition notebooks with neon pink pens when she was in junior high and never really stopped. In college, she decided to turn her love of books into a career by pursuing a Ph.D. in literature, where she spent the next few years studying bizarre and entertaining medieval romances. Now, as a professor, she teaches courses in college writing, literature, and children’s media. When she’s not writing and teaching, Jenny spends her time buried under Lego and puzzle pieces, cross-stitching her favorite characters, and taking too many pictures of her rescue dogs, Tucker and Dale. On the Plus Side is her newest novel.
