About the Event

This June, we're hosting a queer-focused session of our book club by reading Time Is the Thing the Body Moves Through by T. Fleischmann. This tiny and poetic book bridges memoir, art critique, and queer-commune #goals to give us an intimate self-portrait of queerness in America.

We'll meet on Tuesday, June 22nd at 7pm, BOTH in person AND online to discuss this book. For this reason, we ask that you RSVP using this google form to let us know if you would like to join our virtual or in-person (outdoor) group. We'll also use this form to check that our in-person attendees are vaccinated.

You must fill out the form to attend; this Shopify page is for you to order the book or beer pairing through us.

For the book and beer, see options and pickup details below. We'll send out an email to all registrants with the below information + specific pickup instructions.

  • Buy the book and the beer pairing. Pick up both at Lamplighter, a couple of days after you order! This month's beer pairing is a four-pack of our Pride month pale ale, Act Up. Buy the beer pairing, and borrow the book digitally from the Cambridge Public Library (no on-site pickups at this time) Access the e-book or audiobook Hoopla (or the Hoopla app).
  • Buy the book and skip the beer.
  • Pick up the book at Lamplighter. Buy neither, borrow the book from the Cambridge Public Library, and attend for free! See above for library access tips.
