Kind Like Marsha Drag Storytime

Join author Sarah Prager and special drag performer guest Sham Payne on Saturday, August 6th at the launch event for Kind Like Marsha, a picture book celebrating LGBTQ+ heroes from history. Elementary school and preschool kids will learn to be "resilient like Josephine Baker," "artistic like Frida Kahlo" and "determined like Sylvia Rivera" in this brightly illustrated August 2 release. A storytime from Kind Like Marsha and Prager's other book about LGBTQ+ historical figures Rainbow Revolutionaries will be followed by time for expressing your own creative side with coloring pages from the illustrations and a book signing by the Massachusetts-based author.
