About the Event
On Saturday, April 29th, All She Wrote Books, and hundreds of indie bookstores across the country will recognize Independent Bookstore Day. It's a day to celebrate readers, books, and indie bookselling. Basically, all of our favorite things! Check out all of the fun we have planned: DRAG STORY HOUR: Starting on Indie Bookstore Day, we will have our first Drag Story Hour of 2023 with local drag performer, Patty Bourrée! This a free event, but registration is required for this event. OUR 3RD IBD BOOK SALE: We will be hosting our 3RD IBD sale — 10% off the entire store (including online)! EXCLUSIVE MERCH: Bookstore Day featured items for lit lovers like tote bags, mugs, and more (in-store and online) SHARE THE LOVE: We're inviting friends and passersby to tell us what they love about indies on a long stretch of butcher paper featured at the front of the store.
