About the Event

In House of Our Queer: Healing, Reframing, and Reclaiming Your Spiritual Practice, activist and organizer, Bex Mui M.Ed. (she/her) takes readers on a winding path through her spiritual journey. Raised Catholic—with Buddhist influences from her father —Bex shares the complexities of her spiritual roots and the development of her own rituals and practices as a queer witch and energy healer.

Bex is thrilled to be joined by spiritual imagination coach, writer, and preacher Taj M. Smith for this book talk. In this moderated conversation, Bex will share about her ever-growing spiritual toolbox including energy work, astrology, tarot, sacred sexuality, and honoring ancestors, as well as ways to reimagine religious roots. Using the framework of her new release, this event aims to meet participants wherever they are in their magical, energetic, and spiritual journeys.

The event will take place at 451 Artisan Way. The space is wheelchair accessible. Masks are required to enter the bookstore and during entirety of the event.
