Drag Queen Story Hour With Special Guest Author Lil Miss Hot Mess

All She Wrote Books proudly presents Lil Miss Hot Mess, author and member of Drag Queen Story Hour for a special Drag Queen Story Hour on Sunday, July 24th at 2:00pm!  She will be doing readings of to both of her books — If You Are a Drag Queen and You Know It, and The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish. After the reading/sing-along, we will engage in a coloring activity provided by our friends at JP Licks!

About the Author

Lil Miss Hot Mess is the author of the children's books If You’re a Drag Queen and You Know It (Running Press Kids, 2022) and The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish (2020), and serves on the board of Drag Queen Story Hour.  She has appeared on world-class stages like SFMOMA, Stanford University, and Saturday Night Live; was a founding organizer of the #MyNameIs campaign that challenged Facebook’s “real names” policy; and has published in Curriculum Inquiry as well as The Guardian, Wired, and Salon.  When not twirling, Lil Miss Hot Mess is a professor of public humanities and media studies.
