About the Event
Love reading & talking about books? All She Wrote Books is excited to announce our first book club event at the intersection of great literature and delicious food. Aside from reading great books each month, our co-host Juliet will develop a fun themed cocktail for every book selection!
In honor of Mother’s Day we will be reading Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner. Join us on Sunday, May 7th at 5pm at our co-host location, Juliet in Somerville for a lively discussion of this moving memoir about love, loss, and family.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner - This is a memoir by a Korean-American musician who reflects on her relationship with her mother and her own identity through the lens of food. The book includes descriptions of Korean cuisine and explores the ways in which food can connect us to our cultural heritage.
